What is FlareStore?

FlareStore is a comprehensive platform for iOS app signing and sideloading. We provide a suite of browser-based tools that let you sign IPA files, manage signing certificates, install apps on your devices, and protect them from revocation — all without needing a Mac or Xcode. Whether you're a developer testing your own apps or an enthusiast running open-source software, FlareStore makes the process fast, secure, and accessible from any device.

How iOS App Signing Works

Every app installed on an iOS device must be digitally signed with an Apple Developer certificate. This is a security measure that verifies the app's origin and ensures it hasn't been modified. When you download from the App Store, Apple handles signing automatically — but for apps distributed outside the App Store, you need to sign them yourself using a P12 certificate and a provisioning profile that includes your device's UDID.

Getting Started with Sideloading

New to sideloading? The process is simpler than you might think. First, use our UDID Grabber to find your device's unique identifier — this takes about 30 seconds and only needs to be done once. Next, get a signing certificate from our Store (or try our free certificates to test things out). Then use the Web Signer to sign your IPA files and install them directly to your device.
