FlareStore for Apple TV

BETA

FlareStore for Apple TV is currently in beta. If this guide works for you, please let us know your setup (main device software and Apple TV software) so we can document confirmed combinations for everyone.

PREREQUISITES

Before You Begin

Ensure you have the following ready before starting:

1 FlareStore installed on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro. Download it here.

2 A valid Apple TV signing certificate for each Apple TV you are installing to. Get an Apple TV signing certificate instantly here. You can also get your Apple TV UDID here.

STEP 1

Pair Your Apple TV

Open the FlareStore app on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro and navigate to Settings > Devices > Apple TV.

On your Apple TV, open the tvOS Settings app, go to "Remotes and Devices", then go to "Remote Apps and Devices".

Stay on this screen and after 10-45 seconds your Apple TV should become visible to pair. The FlareStore app will request a pairing code that will be displayed on your Apple TV — enter it into the FlareStore app to pair.

Ensure that local network permission was granted in the FlareStore app or the Apple TV will not be discoverable for pairing.

If after the 10-45 second window your Apple TV is still not showing for pairing, restart the FlareStore app and navigate back to the Apple TV screen. This can take 2-3 attempts worst case to get the initial pairing working.

STEP 2

Install VPN Profile

After your Apple TV has successfully paired, the FlareStore app will ask to install a VPN profile. This VPN is needed to communicate with the Apple TV.

The VPN is only needed when installing apps to your Apple TV. You can turn off the VPN after you are done installing apps.

After the VPN profile is added, you should see a "Connected" or "Connect" button per Apple TV paired. Ensure you are in a connected state with your Apple TV when installing apps — before installing an app to your Apple TV, the Apple TV screen will automatically re-appear.

STEP 3

Import Apple TV Certificate

Import the FlareStore Apple TV certificate to your main FlareStore client (iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro):

In the FlareStore app, go to Settings > Certificates > Add Certificate
Import the P12 + Mobile Provision
Enter the password if the P12 has one

STEP 4

Sign & Install to Apple TV

Find an Apple TV compatible IPA and import it into the FlareStore app
Select "Edit" on the imported IPA
In the Edit view, ensure the app is being signed with the Apple TV certificate in the certificate selection
After the IPA signs successfully, instead of the regular "Install" button, it will be replaced with an Apple TV button that shows all paired Apple TVs
Select which Apple TV you want to install to, ensure you are connected, and install the app

Tested & Confirmed Combinations

The following device and software combinations have been tested and confirmed working:

iOS 26.1 with tvOS 26.3, 26.3.1, 26.4

iOS 26.4 with tvOS 26.0
